Meeting with media representatives regarding the launch of direct flights between Georgia and Slovakia

Ambassador of Georgia Konstantine Kvachakidze and Director of the Bratislava Airport Dušan Novota met with media representatives at Bratislava M. R. Štefánik Airport regarding the launch of direct flights between Georgia and Slovakia.

 

The Ambassador delivered a presentation about Georgia to Slovak journalists and answered their questions. Konstantine Kvachakidze emphasized the importance of direct flights in terms of further deepening business ties and people-to-people relations between the two countries, as well as increasing passenger flows and developing new tourist destinations.

 

Direct regular air traffic between Kutaisi and Bratislava began on January 12, 2026. Flights are operated by aircrafts based in Georgia.
