Participation in a two-day festival held to mark the "European Day of Languages"

On September 10–11, the Embassy of Georgia participated in a two-day festival held to mark the "European Day of Languages", under the auspices of the President of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic and the Rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava.

 

At the Georgian corner, visitors had the opportunity to discover the uniqueness of the Georgian script and learn more about Georgia’s rich history, culture and traditions. The Georgian stand attracted great interest from students representing schools from across Slovakia, many of whom enthusiastically tried their hand at writing their names in Georgian.

 

Informational brochures, prepared by the Ministry of Education of Georgia were also distributed to students and visitors.
