Qvevri wine professional event in Bratislava

In collaboration with the Embassy and Slovak company BWD, an exclusive professional event was held in Bratislava, bringing together restaurant owners, HoReCa industry representatives, wine bloggers and influencers.

Guests had the opportunity to explore the rich heritage of Georgian winemaking through a guided tasting led by Jaba Dzimistarishvili, Georgia’s top sommelier of 2020-2021. Dzimistarishvili introduced attendees to the history, production, and distinctive qualities of qvevri wine.

As part of this initiative, the Georgian sommelier hosted a series of tastings and masterclasses at Batoni Group Restaurants in Bratislava and Vienna (February 4-6), offering a deeper dive into Georgia’s unique wine culture.
