A working visit of the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia to the Slovak Republic

On 7-9 September, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Mr. Givi Mikanadze, accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry, paid a working visit to Bratislava, the capital Slovakia, where he participated in the presentation of the results of the OECD PISA assessment school-age children’s skills conducted in 2025. At the event, Minister Mikanadze addressed the audience and spoke about Georgia’s progress in the latest PISA assessment.

 

As a part of the visit, the Minister also held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Education, Research and Youth of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Tomáš Drucker, during which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministries of Education of Georgia and the Slovak Republic.

 

The Minister also held bilateral meetings with the Ministers of Education of following countries participating in the PISA event - Croatia, Ukraine, Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan.
