80th anniversary of the Day of the Heroes of the "Carpatho-Dukla Operation" in Vyšný Komárnik
On October 6, national celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Day of the Heroes of the "Carpatho-Dukla Operation" were held in the city of Vyšný Komárnik (Prešov region); at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic Mr. Robert Kaliňák, the events were attended by the Charge d'Affaires a.i. of Georgia, Ekaterine Dugladze, together with the heads of the diplomatic missions accredited in Slovakia.
On behalf of the Georgian Embassy, the Chargé d'affaires a.i. laid wreath at the Memorial of the Czechoslovak Army Corps in Dukla.
The President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, Acting Speaker of the National Council Peter Žiga and the Prime Minister Robert Fico gave speeches at the commemorative event.
